All families were invited to dedicate a day to the Lord during the begining of another liturgical year –on the first Sunday of Advent. Adults and adolescents followed a series sessions with the theme based on Pope Francis’ words “We cannot be part-time christians”. The figure of Mother Theresa was presented as an example to those who attended; and youths who volunteer and work with the sisters of Mother Theresa shared their experience of working in Malta and abroad, namely Peru and Ethiopia. Bro Ben Deguara, who volunteered for five weeks with the sisters of Mother Theresa in Malta, also shared his experience. A separate programme for children who attended was also prepared. Around 100 participants attended in all.
