The purpose of the Movement is that its members, in their diversity, but through the same belief, live the mission entrusted to them, together with the Dominican Family, committing themselves to spread the Good News which must be centred on Jesus Christ according to the Dominican Charisma.
- The character formation of each member should be based upon prayer, study, predication and the organisation of religious, social, educational, cultural and sport activities together with voluntary work.
- The Movement commits itself to provide the Church and the local Dominican Order with a spiritual presence full of vitality and freshness, simultaneously taking an active part in the life of the Dominican Family.
- The Movement, which is built upon the spirit and the common faith in Christ, must work in favour of a just society in which we live and which is founded upon faith, hope and love.
- The Movement offers a purpose to its members so that through their gifts and talents, they may live a Christian commitment and make a difference in today’s society by searching for and discovering their faith.
