Solidarity between people can be wonderful,  both at work and during recreation. More so when the principle reason behind it is to help others. Pope Francis in this year dedicated to Mercy encourages us both in action and words to be God’s hands and feet in this world . In fact Christ makes it clear that we Christians have to be the light and salt of this world.

That is why the Keryga Movement is organising a Football feast. While we are all having fun playing, we can join together as one family, so that profits  made from this activity will go to those in need. Jesus Christ always teaches us to think of those who are more in need than us. Solidarity shown with those in need is at the heart of our Gospel’s teaching  and our  Christian lives.

Even though based on Solidarity; the tournament itself is professional. Infact we will follow the general rules for 5 a side Football. There will also be a bar from where to buy food and drinks. One can come together with his family to have fun together. There is an abundance of grounds to play in. Come join us to make this Football Marathon a success and at the same time have fun together.
